VEGAN Bolognese Pasta

INGREDIENTS
600g | KARANA™ MINCED jackfruit meat |
200ml | water |
100ml | oil |
60g | onions, diced |
15g | garlic, chopped |
60g | carrots, diced |
60g | celery, diced |
40g | tomato Paste |
400g | can diced tomatoes |
2g | salt |
4g | sugar |
21oz | KARANA™ GROUND jackfruit meat |
7 fl oz | water |
½ cup | oil |
4½tbsp | onions, diced |
1tbsp | garlic, chopped |
4½tbsp | carrots, diced |
4½tbsp | celery, diced |
3tbsp | tomato paste |
14oz | can diced tomatoes |
½tbsp | salt |
1tbsp | sugar |
Preparation Method
1.
Mix KARANA™ MINCED jackfruit meat with water.
2.
Heat oil, add onions and garlic, and cook until fragrant.
3.
Add KARANA™ MINCED jackfruit meat and stir till the KARANA™ MINCED jackfruit meat is broken up.
4.
Add carrots, celery and cook briefly. Stir in tomato paste, diced tomatoes and pour in water. Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
5.
Season with salt and sugar and serve with pasta.
