INGREDIENTS

400gKARANA™ Minced jackfruit meat
50mloil
100gonions, chopped
60gcarrots, diced
100ggreen peas
200gwater
2gsalt
2gcoarse ground black pepper
200gcan diced tomatoes
30mlhp sauce
4-6 sheetsfrozen shortcrust pastry
14ozKARANA™ GROUND jackfruit meat
3½tbspoil
3.5ozonions, chopped
4tbspcarrots, diced
¾ cupgreen peas
7 fl ozwater
½tbspsalt
½tbspcoarse ground black pepper
7ozcan diced tomatoes
2tbsphp sauce
4-6 sheetsfrozen shortcrust pastry

Preparation Method

1.
Preheat the oven to 180oC.
2.
Heat oil, fry onions and carrots until fragrant. Add peas.
3.
Mix KARANA™ Minced jackfruit meat with water and add to the vegetables mixture. Season with salt and pepper and pour in the tomatoes and HP Sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes.
4.
Use a bowl to cut out round pieces from each pastry sheet.
5.
Grease 16 tart bowls and lay each one with sheet of pastry. Spoon in the fillings and cover with another pastry sheet.
6.
Bake for 20-30 minutes in a preheated oven till golden brown. Serve hot.
