1kgKARANA™ Minced jackfruit meat
250mlwater
150mloil for cooking
100gonions, diced
100gred bell peppers, diced
10ggarlic, chopped
10gcumin powder
10gsmoked paprika powder
8gchili powder
5gcoarse ground black pepper
5gsalt
10gsugar
750gcan chopped tomatoes
200mlextra Water
200gcanned red kidney beans
35ozKARANA™ GROUND jackfruit meat
250mlwater
150mloil for cooking
3.5ozonions, diced
3.5ozred bell peppers, diced
2tbspgarlic, chopped
2tbspcumin powder
2tbspsmoked paprika powder
2tbspchili powder
1tbspcoarse ground black pepper
1tbspsalt
2tbspsugar
26ozcan chopped tomatoes
¾ cupextra Water
10ozcanned red kidney beans

Preparation Method

1.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the KARANA™ Ground jackfruit meat with water. Set aside.
2.
Heat oil in a large pot, add onions, bell peppers and garlic, cook for 2 minutes till fragrant.
Add cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder and coarse ground black pepper.
Cook briefly.
3.
Stir in the KARANA™ Ground jackfruit meat and season with salt and sugar.
Pour in chopped tomatoes, water and cook for 15minutes.
Add kidney beans and cook for another 2 minutes.
4.
Dish up chilli con carne and serve with rice or tortilla chips, melted cheese and salsa fresca.
